NEWSROOM — TWO REGISTERS, ONE DATE DISCIPLINE
DATED. SEPARATED. NEVER RE-LABELED.
The Newsroom publishes two different kinds of record under two different date disciplines. Institutional records carry Evidence Kernel registration dates. Historical publications carry their original publication dates. The two are never interchanged.
MODE A — INSTITUTIONAL RECORD LOG
REGISTERED. DATED. REAL.
Entries below are registration records from the WAE Evidence Kernel — real record dates, not public-announcement events. A registration date means the date a record entered the kernel; it is never a publication date.
Verified narrow view record registered — WAE-CLM-2026-002
The Evidence Kernel resolved a verified claim: 1,269 content assets and 272,807,236 lifetime views for the Wild Animal Encounters Instagram export, window 2025-11-18 to 2026-07-15, with a complete trace from source import to verification.
Record WAE-CLM-2026-002 →Safe field derivative generated — per-asset view-magnitude survey
A safe derivative of the verified export — 1,269 assets, identifiers and captions stripped — was produced with its reduction method recorded. The survey renders as the measured field instrument on the public homepage.
Field instrument →Broad 1.25B+ claim registered as ASSERTED — WAE-CLM-2026-001
WAE recorded the claim of more than 1,250,000,000 verified views with its attribution and assertion location. The kernel does not verify it: the supporting chain is not established. The registration record is preserved openly in the WAE HQ evidence interface; its registration date is not treated as a publication date.

MODE B — HISTORICAL PUBLICATIONS ARCHIVE
THE WAE MEDIA ARCHIVE. 48 PUBLICATIONS.
Every published article from the legacy WAE Media newsroom, migrated verbatim: original slugs, original publication dates, original bodies. These are historical records of what WAE Media published at the time — they are not re-issued claims, and their historical performance statements are tracked against the current Evidence Registry, never upgraded by import.
Registration records stay registration records; historical publications stay publications. Neither kind is back-dated or re-labeled. Historical text is preserved as published, and any claim whose current evidence status differs is annotated on the article page outside the original body.
